KVS Difference in scholar and scholar
KVS Difference in scholar and scholar |
Ravana was a scholar while Hanuman ji was a scholar.
“Educated, talented and very clever.
Ram is eager to get his work done.
One is a scholar and the other is a scholar. There is a lot of difference between the two. We can understand it like this, Ravana is a scholar and Hanuman ji is a scholar. Ravana has ten heads. Four Vedas and six Shastras together make ten. These have been called ten heads. The one whose head is filled with these ten heads has ten heads. Ravana is really a scholar. But what is the irony? He kidnapped Sita ji and brought her back.
Many times learned people do not allow others to live in peace because of their scholarship. Their pride takes away the peace in the form of Sita from others and Hanuman ji brings the lost peace in the form of Sita back to God.

Hanuman ji said –
“Please Ravana, please do it more forcefully.
I listen to you and teach you more.”
Hanuman ji folded his hands and said that if I request, then doesn’t Hanuman ji have the strength? No, this is not the case . Both make requests, whether filled with fear or full of emotion. Ravana said, what about you, look here how many people are standing in front of me with folded hands.
“Kar jore sur disip vinita.
Bhrikuti Vilokat gross allness.
This is the difference between a scholar and a scholar. Hanuman ji went to convince Ravana. This is the union of the scholar and the learned.
In the court of Ravana, the gods and Digpal are standing with folded hands in fear and looking towards Bhrikuti. But Hanuman ji is not standing with folded hands in fear.

Ravana also said –
“Kidhoun shravan sunehi nahin mohi.
Let’s see, ati asanka satath tohi.”
Ravana said – “Haven’t you heard about me? You look very fearless!”
Hanuman ji said – “Is it necessary that whoever comes before you should come in fear?” Ravana said – “Look, all the gods and others standing here are standing in fear.” Hanuman ji said – “The reason for their fear is that they are looking at your eyebrows.”
‘Bhrikuti vilokat sakal sahitya.’
But I look at the eyebrows of Lord Rama. What is his frown like? Speak
“Bhrikuti Vilas Srishti Laya Hoi.
Dreams are in trouble or are you sleeping?”
If one’s eyebrows become crooked then disaster will happen and the one who looks towards them does not face any trouble even in his dreams. I look at the eyebrows of Shri Ram ji.
Ravana said – “This is a strange thing. When you look at Ram ji’s eyebrows, why are you folding your hands in front of us?
“Please Ravana, please do it more forcefully.”
Hanuman ji said – “This is your illusion. I am joining hands with them only.”
Ravana said – “Where is he here?” Hanuman ji said, “This is what I have come to explain.” My Lord Ram ji had said –
“So Ananya Jaake Asi Mati Na Terai Hanumanth.
I am the servant of the true form of Lord God.”
God has said to see me in everything. That’s why I’m not seeing you, I’m seeing God in you too.” That’s why Hanuman ji says –
“Eat the fruit, Lord, I am hungry.
And the most beloved master of everyone’s body.
Hanuman ji calls Ravana as Lord and Master and Ravana –
“Death is near.
Laagesi adham sikhavan mohi ॥
Ravana addresses Hanuman ji by calling him Khal and Adham. This is the sign of a learned person that the one who sees God even in someone who abuses himself is a learned person.
The characteristics of a learned person are –
“Vidya dadati vinayam.
“Vinayati Yati Adhikarvam”
The one who becomes humble after studying is a scholar and the one who becomes arrogant after studying is a scholar. Tulsi Das ji says –
“The rains make the land dry quickly.
May the new generation attain Vuddha Vidya.
Just as clouds come down when filled with water, similarly thoughtful people become humble after gaining knowledge. Similarly, Hanuman ji is humble and Ravana is learned.
Here the question arises that who is a scholar?
In answer to this it is said that the one whose mental capacity has increased but has a bad heart and pride in his heart is a scholar and now the question is who is a scholar?
It is said in the answer that the one who has God in his heart and who talks about placing God in the hearts of others is a learned person.
Hanuman ji said – “Ravana! And that’s fine, but your heart is not right. How will it be fixed? Said that –
“Ram Charan Pankaj Ur Dharhu.
You will rule over Lanka.”
Place Lord Ram in your heart and then rule Lanka happily. Here Hanuman ji talks about placing God in Ravana’s heart, that is why he is knowledgeable.
