Addressing the joint graduation parade at the Air Force Academy, President Murmu said that there must be the ability to assimilate technology at a rapid pace for defense related preparedness in land, water and air sectors.
President Draupadi Murmu on Saturday said that the Indian Air Force is taking steps to be always ready in the future keeping in mind the overall security scenario including the challenges of fighting a high technology officer war in the network centric future battlefield.
While addressing the joint graduation parade at the Air Force Academy here, the Honorable President said that the ability to assimilate technology at a rapid pace will be essential for defense preparedness in the land, water and air sectors.
He said that I am happy to note that our Air Force is taking steps to be always ready in the future especially keeping in mind the overall security scenario including the challenges of fighting a high technology officer based war in the network centric future battlefield. l
The President said that the country’s defense forces together protect the land borders, large coastlines, regional populations and vast airspace.
Hon’ble President said that every officer of the armed forces must have an integrated perspective of defense preparedness in mind.
Murmu ji said that the modernization of the Indian Air Force with the induction of Rafale fighter aircraft and Chunuk heavy lift helicopters strengthens its operational capabilities.
Referring to the humanitarian assistance provided by the Indian Air Force during the crisis and the relief measures taken during the disaster, he said that the successful operation to evacuate more than 600 Indians and other civilians stranded in Kabul is a testament to its high capabilities. Which involves taking off and landing in a hostile environment.
The President said that the Indian Air Force is inducting women officers in all roles and branches and the number of women fighter pilots is set to increase significantly.

•  राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने शनिवार को यह कहा कि भारतीय वायुसेना नेटवर्क केंद्रित भावी युद्ध क्षेत्र में एक उच्च प्रौद्योगिकी अधिकारी युद्ध लड़ने की चुनौतियों समेत समग्र सुरक्षा परिदृश्य को ध्यान में रखते हुए भविष्य में हमेशा तैयार रहने के वास्ते कदम उठा रही है l
•  माननीय राष्ट्रपति इन्होंने यहां वायु सेना अकादमी में संयुक्त स्नातक परेड की को संबोधित करते हुए कहां की, थल जल और वायु क्षेत्र में रक्षा संबंधी तैयारियों के लिए प्रौद्योगिकी को तीव्र गति से आत्मसात करने की क्षमता आवश्यक होगी l
• उन्होंने कहा कि मुझे यह जानकर खुशी है कि हमारी वायू सेना  है ना नेटवर्क केंद्रित भावी युद्ध क्षेत्र में एक उच्च प्रौद्योगिकी अधिकारी आधारित युद्ध लड़ने की चुनौतियों समेत समग्र सुरक्षा परिदृश्य को ध्यान में रखते हुए खासकर भविष्य में हमेशा तैयार रहने के लिए कदम उठा रही है l
• राष्ट्रपति ने कहा कि देश के रक्षा बल भू सीमा हो बड़े समुद्र तट और क्षेत्रीय जन एवं विशाल हवाई क्षेत्र की साथ मिलकर रक्षा करते हैं l
• माननीय राष्ट्रपति जी ने कहा कि सशस्त्र बलों के प्रत्येक अधिकारी को रक्षा तैयारियों के एक एकीकृत परिप्रेक्ष्य को ध्यान में रखा होगा l
•  मुर्मू जी ने कहा कि राफेल लड़ाकू विमान और चुनूक हेवी लिफ्ट हेलीकॉप्टर को शामिल करके भारतीय वायु सेना का आधुनिकीकरण उसकी परिचालन क्षमताओं को मजबूत करता है l
• उन्होंने संकट के दौरान भारतीय वायुसेना द्वारा की गई मानवीय सहायता और आपदा के दौरान राहत के लिए उठाए गए उनके कदमों का जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि काबुल में फंसे 600 से अधिक भारतीयों और अन्य नागरिकों को निकालने के लिए सफल अभियान देना कि उच्च क्षमताओं का प्रमाण है l जिसमें शत्रुता पूर्ण वातावरण में उड़ान भरना और उतरना शामिल है l
• राष्ट्रपति जी ने कहा कि भारतीय वायुसेना और सभी भूमिकाओं और शाखाओं में महिला अधिकारियों को शामिल कर रही है और महिला लड़ाकू पायलट की संख्या में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि होना तय है l
